What is the system requirements to browse WelcomeToVietnam?

To browse WelcomeToVietnam smoothly, the minimum system requirements are:

• A web browser supporting Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) running on a PC (Personal Computer). There are a lot of browsers available on the market, the popular ones are Netscape® Navigator, Microsoft® Internet Explorer, Opera. Almost of them are free ware. It's recommended to use the latest version of web browser.
  Download the latest version of Netscape® Navigator or  Microsoft® Internet Explorer.
• A monitor and video adapter supports at least 256 colors with the resolution 640 x 480 pixels. The recommended resolution is 800 x 600 pixels and 16 bits color.
• Mouse or pointing device supported by your operating system.
• The hardware requirements are indicated by your web browser. If you can browse any other website, you can browse WelcomeToVietnam smoothly.

What is "cookie" and why does cookie warning appear?

Cookie is just a small data packet passed between web browser and website and may be stored on your hard disk as a small text file for the next use. Cookie contain the information (which is usually generated by the website) needed by the website. Each time you request to view a page on the website, this information will be passed by your browser. WelcomeToVietnam website uses cookie to save the information which verify your identity and prove that you have signed in properly. If the font size used on WelcomeToVietnam is too small to read, you can make it larger for easier reading. Making the font size larger may make the some page displayed incorrectly (is different from original design). Directions for some popular web browsers:

• Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher: click on Tools menu, select Internet Options..., click on the Accessibility... button on the right-bottom of the dialog box. Then check the box Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages, click OK button. Now you can set the font size as large as you would like by click on View menu, choose a font size under the Text Size item (Larger, Largest).
• Netscape® Navigator 4.0 and higher: click on View menu, select Increase Font till the font size reach a certain size as you wish. If you want to view smaller font, select Decrease Font.

I have problem when I try to sign in. What happen?

Some sections on WelcomeToVietnam require you to sign in before accessing. In case you  have not signed in yet, the sign-in page will be displayed. After signing in, you will be redirected to the homepage. You can verify if you have signed in or not by checking the status of the welcome line located at the top-left of the page. After signing in, you can access the whole website. If you are using a public computer, remember to sign out before you leave WelcomeToVietnam. Signing out warrants that your account is not used by any unauthorized people. To sign out, click the Sign out link on the welcome line located at the top-left of the page.

If the sign-in page is displayed again at your attempt to sign in, it may be caused by one of the following reasons:

• Your email address and/or password is typed incorrectly. You may have forgot them. To recall your password, use your password hint (if any). Click here for more help.
• Your member account has not been created successfully. Retry to create one.
• Your web browser disable the cookies. Cookies are enabled by default. If they somehow have been disabled , try to enable them. Refer to your web browser's help or manual for instructions.

When I pay my order, a secure warning is displayed. What is it?

Some web browsers display a secure warning when you enter or leave a secure connection using SSL technology (Secure Sockets Layer, which makes the transactions are safe across Internet). It's harmless to disable that warning and prevent it displayed again next time. Secure warning dialog box usually has a check box allow you to disable it.

When I refresh a page, a re-post data warning is displayed. What is it?

When you refresh a page which requires information provided by a form, almost web browsers display a re-post data warning. Because the refreshed page needs (and depends on) the information provided by a form, to display this page you must re-post that information again. Just click OK button (or buttons of the same function) to continue.
